Afternoon Keynote:  Nicole Price - Reality Based Leadership: Ditch the Drama, Restore Sanity to the Workplace and Turn Excuses into Results

When Nicole Price began her first leadership assignment, based on popular and conventional leadership wisdom, initially she failed miserably. Pretty quickly she learned that there was a better way to achieve results and started incorporating a philosophy similar to that of Cy Wakeman’s Reality-Based Leadership™ - focusing less on the obstacles and more on the solutions. So she made a fundamental shift in her mindset and began to call her teams to greatness.  She insisted that they ditch the drama and find success in spite of the circumstances and facts that held them back. She has been living this idea and helping other leaders to gain similar insights ever since. It is no wonder why she and Cy became forces to be reckoned with when they started collaborating in 2011.  Since that time, Nicole has created training programs and promoted the idea of bulletproofing employees rather than focusing efforts on trying to perfect their circumstances and change realities.

Because of her unique background, personality, and similar philosophy, Cy handpicked Nicole to help revolutionize the way employees and leaders accomplish the unthinkable by expanding the Reality-Based Leadership™ philosophy. Nicole’s extensive proficiency in coaching individuals and teams gives her a rare perspective allowing her to introduce the Reality-Based Leadership™ philosophy to diverse groups. She’s experienced great success working with individuals and teams in multiple corporations, non-profit organizations, retail, and manufacturing environments.

Like Cy, Nicole is an amazing facilitator.  Participants in her programs consistently give rave reviews and credit Nicole for unearthing insights that helped to change the way they think and ultimately change their lives. Frequently, participants positively recount their experiences with Nicole months and years later.
Clients who who’ve greatly benefited from the work of Cy Wakeman, Inc. include Bayer, New York Presbyterian, National Institutes of Health, Hospira, Hallmark Cards, Federal Reserve Bank, Weil Cornell, Verizon Wireless, U.S. Cellular, TD Ameritrade, First Data Resources, Woodmen of the World, ConAgra, Omnium Worldwide, Inc. First National Merchant Solutions, Wellmark, Wells Fargo, Cabela’s, Farm Bureau, Trinity Health Systems.
