Presentation Description

As the Human Resources leader, you are charged with leading your organization through the compensation planning process. Do you have a plan? If so, how is it working? Are you asking yourself . . .

• Is the compensation plan competitive within the marketplace?
• Does it promote equity within the organization?
• Does it meet the business needs and follow the overall compensation philosophy?
• Is it easy to administer and understand?
• Does it comply with federal and state laws and regulations?

The presentation will give an overview of how to build a compensation plan and pay structure and how to implement and communicate it effectively to your organization.

We will transition from presentation to panel discussion to discuss the finer points of using labor market data and survey results to develop a sound compensation strategy as well take specific compensation questions from the audience. Participants will take away useful tools and resources available that will help with compensation analysis.

Participants will learn:
• Importance of getting management buy in
• How to develop a compensation strategy
• Tactics for creating a compensation program
• How to roll out your plan
