Welcome!

Art Jackson Seth Mattison

GMA SHRM is excited to announce our 6th Annual Human Capital Conference will be held Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, WI.

With so many changes impacting our profession, we thought it appropriate that our conference theme and the sessions reflect the next phase of HR.  Thus our theme HR 2.011!

The featured keynote presenters for this years conference are nationally-recognized speakers including  a 2010 presenter at the SHRM National Leadership Conference.  Seth Mattison and Art Jackson are set to deliver two outstanding keynotes.

Courtesy of Lee Hecht Harrison, all attendees will receive a copy of "the M-factor: HOW THE MILLENIAL GENERATION IS ROCKING THE WORKPLACE", the focus of our keynote presentation by Seth Mattison.

Book Sale and Food Drive

For 2011 GMA SHRM is proud to partner with two organizations throughout 2011 to benefit the HR Profession and support our community.

What should I donate?

Food items – Feel free to clean out your pantry and donate food that might otherwise go to waste. If possible, try to select the items in greatest need, such as: Stews, Jelly, Tuna Fish, Peanut Butter, Pancake Mix, Syrup, Juice, Cereal, Hamburger Helper, Macaroni & Cheese, Dry Pasta, Spaghetti Sauce, Crackers, Applesauce, Beans, Rice and Canned Vegetables.

Non-Food – Second Harvest also provides people in need with several necessary non-food items, such as, Diapers, Laundry Detergent, Facial Tissue, Toilet Paper, Ziplock Bags, Baby Wipes, Bar Soap, Paper Towels, Tooth Brushes/Paste, Shampoo, Dish Soap or Shaving Cream

Money - Second Harvest Foodbank can provide three meals with every $ 1 donated. You might ask yourself how they do this, well it’s through the strong relationships they have with local food industry donors. Each dollar is able to go much farther than those we spend at the grocery store ourselves!

How can I support?

The GMASHRM will have have a book sale at the conference!  For sale will be new and gently used books and DVD that have been donated throughout the program year.

- Professional development books
- Personal development books
- Children’s books
- Fiction
- DVDs

All proceeds will benefit the SHRM Foundation!
