Session 1

When the pandemic hit in March 2020, in-person hiring froze up and many of us turned to video to help. But while many of us dipped our toes in video, most of us haven't used it to its full potential in the hiring and onboarding process.  This session is for you if you're considering using video for hiring or have already started but want to know how to take it to the next level.

Participants will learn:

  • Why the use of video can't be ignored any longer if you want to stay ahead in the hiring game.
  • Best practices around creating videos to attract and onboard new team members.
  • How to plan, shoot, edit, and distribute videos even if you don't have the fancy equipment.

Session 2

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion are increasingly top of mind for today’s leaders. Fostering DEI initiatives is not only the right thing to do, but having diversity of experience, culture and thought leads to better outcomes as teams are able to collaborate and consider different viewpoints when solving for customer needs. As employers look to create sustainable practices to achieve these goals, it is imperative that it be executed holistically and be incorporated into business practices as well as people/benefit strategies. Gallagher will lead a discussion around best practices and strategies to consider when seeking to implement a people-first Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy within your Total Rewards & Benefits Programs that will help drive and fulfill corporate mission, but also has the power to create better health outcomes for everyone.

Participants will learn:
  • Key metrics and strategic pillars to create a people-first rewards philosophy inclusive of DEI
  • Connecting business priorities to Human Resources and Benefits Strategy
  • Considerations to modernize and ensure your benefit programs are relevant in today’s day and age
