Regardless of the role we have within the organization, we are all leaders.  Whether it is on teams, with peers, subordinates or even up through the organization, in our own way we lead others.  The question is how are you leading?  Or better yet, what’s the impact your leadership is having on others?

This Summit program will help HR professionals better understand their roles and responsibilities as leaders and the impact they are having on the work environment.  Whether you are new to leadership or a veteran of the trade, this program will offer specific tools to recognize ways that everyday your actions have a direct impact on your organization and that you have the opportunity to make your environment a more positive one which will yield improved results and more productive outcomes.

Learning Objectives:

Participants will understand the meaning of leadership
Participants will understand their role and responsibility in leadership
Participants will learn the factors associated with creating a positive work environment
Participants will learn the leadership skills associated with leading through influence vs. leading with power
Participants will learn the importance of and technique for providing recognition and reward
Understand management’s responsibility to hold employees accountable and to take corrective action
Learn how to coach individuals with inappropriate behavior
Learn how to understand and manage employees with “attitude” problems
