Compensation can likely represent your largest single business investment. Getting the most effective results out of that investment, or bang-for-your-buck, is what every organization strives for. When human resources can provide valuable insights to executives on those expenditures, they act as invaluable resources to the success of the organization.
You will learn how compensation plays a major role in the competitiveness of an organization. We will discuss the foundation of a solid compensation program, including the creation of jobs, valuation of jobs, and pay structure design. In addition, we will discuss how to administer your program successfully with salary planning and pay-for-performance components.
We will also talk through the relationship of compensation to the other reward and recognition components, and the role it plays in talent management. By sharing trends and experiences, you can walk away with a better understanding of what compensation approach may work for your organization.
