Our Presenters

 

Jennifer Mirus is a partner in the Labor and Employment Law Practice Group at the Boardman Law Firm in Madison, Wisconsin. Jennifer represents clients in all aspects of employment relations, including hiring, discipline and terminations, wage issues, discrimination, FMLA, and harassment. She also provides counsel on insurance-related issues including COBRA, HIPAA, and wellness programs. Jennifer conducts workplace investigations and regularly conducts in-house trainings for clients of all sizes. Jennifer is a 1993 honors graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School. She is a frequent speaker for Human Resources groups including SHRM, she teaches employment law courses at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Small Business Development Center, and is an alumna of Leadership Greater Madison. She is also past President of the Legal Association for Women. In her bountiful free time, Jennifer chases after her three young daughters.

 

Lauri Morris is a partner in the Labor and Employment area at Quarles & Brady whose practice includes representing management in employment and administrative law matters and emphasizes defending employers in discrimination claims before state and federal administrative agencies and courts. Her practice also includes proactive representation of employers on issues including the FMLA, ADA, Title VII, non-compete agreements, hiring and firing, employment contracts, drug testing, wage and hour issues, privacy and worker's compensation. Lauri is an active member of the SHRM Programming Committee.
