How does HR communicate their services and get the 'bang for their buck'?  Many HR professionals spend hours of time and energy developing new and enhanced initiatives, however, sometimes these great, new changes fall short by failing to drive home the value.  Please join us for this month's chapter meeting which will focus on marketing and communicating HR services and its value.

This 2 part session will begin with a presentation by Nancy Melcher, SPHR, founder and president of FlexMor Corporation. FlexMor is a Wisconsin based communication and consulting business that specializes in helping employers and employees “get more” for and from their economic/employment relationship. Nancy will share new thinking and insight which supports transforming the current and existing human resource delivery systems, which frankly have lost meaning in this fast paced, very demanding employment era.

Within every single employment touchstone, from recruitment to benefits to performance review systems to training, lies a vast array of opportunities to strengthen our message, reframe our employees thinking; inspire new behavior and energize our teams and organizations.

The second part of our session will allow participants (in small group fashion) to engage in a discovery and discussion session. Each team will identify and determine how to breathe new life into their existing delivery systems. These groups will then present their thoughts/strategies in a roundtable format, thereby enabling all participants to walk away with enhanced thinking and a game plan for transforming these elements within their own organizations.

Our Presenter - Nancy Melcher, SPHR

Ms. Melcher is the President of FlexMor Corporation, an employee benefit communication consulting firm in Oak Creek, WI.

FlexMor was created to help employers get more for their benefit dollar by helping employees get more from theirs.

In her twenty-five years of coaching employers and employees in benefits and employment, Nancy has recognized the essential and energizing role that communication plays in creating positive committed relationships with one another.

Ms. Melcher’s experience and research has led her to create and provide a program which allows benefits to be expressed and experienced uniquely and individually. FlexMor has impressive outcomes for employers who implement the program-higher participation, greater elections, more effective benefit utilization and a tremendous improvement in perceived value and employee satisfaction.

Nancy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in organizational communication from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In her role at FlexMor she continues to empower employers and employees in creating expanded benefit choices while containing costs and optimizing communication, connection and commitment.
