Post: My company is considering adding a Roth 401(k) to our current 401(k) plan effective January 2006. Is your company also considering this new feature? If so, when do you plan to add? If not, what are your company's concerns?

Posted Reply: I plan to amend our 401(k) plan to include the Roth 401(k) option. In all that I have read I do not see a downside. The key is communication and I speculate that those that will take advantage are those highly compensated, $220,000 plus in income, as they will continue to be in a high tax bracket post retirement and would prefer to pay the taxes now.
