GMA SHRM is pleased to announce the results of the professional scholarship program and scholarship programs: Congratulations to Mary LaFrancois, SPHR, who will receive the $1,000 professionals' scholarship for 2004! The professional scholarship program encourages continuing education in the human resource field. The recipient was selected by the Scholarship Committee based on demonstration of leadership qualities and interest in the human resources field, GMA SHRM participation, and a dedication to the advancement of the HR field. Congratulations to Ann Bomba from UW-Madison, and Amanda Leyes from UW-Whitewater, who will each receive a $500 student's scholarship for 2004! The student scholarship program encourages the continual pursuit of achieving an education in the human resource field. Recipients were selected by the Scholarship Committee based on their all-around academic standing, participation in university and community activities, demonstration of leadership qualities and interest in the human resources field. |
