Under Highlights and Happenings, click on “Today’s ‘Job Revolution’ is Tomorrow’s Crisis” and read Steve Gunderson’s testimony to the U.S. Senate’s Health, Education, Labor and Pension Committee. Gunderson will be a presenter at our September program meeting. His testimony to the Senate speaks of the factors behind the jobs revolution and the need for life-long learning. He also offers several policy considerations and shares thoughts from experts across the nation regarding the delivery of workforce programs. Gunderson’s presentation at our GMA SHRM meeting will be among his last as a consultant with Greystone Group. He recently accepted a position as President and CEO of the Council on Foundations, an association of more than 2,000 grantmaking foundations and corporations worldwide.
